CQDM and CIHR, with five of its institutes, has partnered in a new pan-Canadian collaborative funding program in personalized medicine. This new funding program differs significantly from other initiatives in that it:
1. Focuses on the development of next-generation technologies, computational tools and devices to facilitate the R&D of safer and more effective drugs;
2. Provides an excellent platform for academic and industrial researchers to work together as public/private partnerships are mandatory;
3. Provides an excellent opportunity for researchers to establish closer relationships with the pharmaceutical industry since successful applicants will also benefit from CQDM’s exclusive pharmaceutical mentorship program.
ATTENTION: Selection criteria for this program are quite unique and, to be successful, it is strongly suggested that applicants attend the information sessions below or meet directly with CQDM and/or CIHR representatives.
